2023 Shannons Insurance NTESERIES launches for it’s fourth annual championship series.
The 2023 edition of the NTESERIES has launched with long term series supporters Shannons Insurance continuing their partnership as the series’ naming rights sponsors.
Returning to it’s wholly grail, the 2023 series will see entrants compete in the Holden and Ford Supercars across six rounds, giving drivers an extra round of racing compared to previous series editions. The championship will run on Sunday evenings across a range of different tracks including Sandown, Daytona International Speedway, Zanvoort, Villeneuve, Bathurst and rounding out the series on the Chicago Street Circuit.
The NTESERIES was launched in 2020 in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic to give drivers and motoring enthusiasts a chance to get back behind the wheel (albeit virtually), when real life competition was unable to occur. As an addition to this, it was also an opportunity for the series and it’s entrants to promote local NT businesses to show our support.
In 2023, the NTESERIES will continue this tradition and will be awarding bonus championship points to competitors who run at least one NT business logo on their livery.
As an exciting edition to the 2023 Series, organisers are excited to launch the Development Series which will see eligible drivers compete for the development series championship in the Toyota 86. Development Series entrants will still be able to compete for the NTESERIES championship, but will also have their chance at claiming the inaugural NTESERIES Development Series title. The Development Series will shadow the NTESERIES Championship and will be broadcasted as an opener event at each round. All the action will be broadcasted live by SimSpeedTV with familiar voices, Daniel and Hayden returning to the mic to commentate the series.
Round one of the championship will kick off on Sunday 5 March 2023.

The Shannon's Insurance NTESERIES will see the return of 2022 series Champion Jack Widdas, & 2022 Shannon's Insurance Enduro season Champion Blake Worboys, along with 30 other returning drivers joined by 13 brand new drivers to the series. With an average iRating of 1800 this season looks set to be the toughest yet, with a mixture of tight street tracks, roval tracks, Europe circuits and traditional Supercar tracks, the 2023 edition of the Shannon's Insurance NTESERIES is set to be an instant classic.
